A La Monkey Challenge

So excited to be posting my first challenge!! Hope to get some feedback on my card from new people. Thanks to A La Card Monkey for the inspiration to go craft!!!

This card was made with my dad in mind. He helps me out so much with many different projects, ideas and hugs. Love him lots.

I used "Totally Tool" from Stampin Up and the paper is from the local scrapbook store. I love the red, actually "Cranberry Crisp" retired paper from Stampin Up.

Enjoy your day!

Here We Go!

Hello and welcome! I have decided to do a second blog because I have so many interests I would like to talk about, challenges I want to play along with and organization to show the world, however I do not think my in-laws and parents want to see all of that. So this was my solution. They can visit Caldwell Cuties to see what the grand kids are up to and this is where I can be creative.

Some things I hope to post are cards I have made, fun girl things I am doing, book reviews, challenges, garage sale fines, bargains and finally organization. I am not so good at this organization thing, but when I do get inspiration or a good idea, I would love to show the world.

To begin my creative blogging I want to start with some cards I made this weekend. I have been obsessed with finding punch art on the computer. I have saved many, many pictures and over 100 pages of directions. I love to make the images as much as I thought I would. They are quick, easy and so adorable!! Here are the first cards made with punched art images...drum roll!! :)

Isn't this little frog the cutest little guy you have ever seen? I found him online and do not remember who I cased it from. If you see it and it is yours please let me know. The happy birthday is actually stamped on the inside of the card and then I punched the shape to expose the wording.
Little frog again! I could not get her to turn correctly for the life of me, so you are going to have to turn your head. They are adorable it is worth the extra effort!. I thought it would be fun to use him with a more feminine card. Love the dots for the background of the first one and then the frog surrounded by flowers is super cute. The little flowers are just a bit to add to the "girliness" of the card. (Yep I even make up words! This is going to be fun!)Finally I made this tractor. It reminds me of my son Kenneth. He LOVES tractors, well anything that has a motor! I am not super crazy about the tree in the background, but for now that is where the tractor is going to live.
Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your holiday weekend!
